African Travel operates escorted tours with expert guides who lead various game-viewing excursions, nature walks and city tours. On an African Travel itinerary, you might explore Botswana, Kenya or Tanzania on a safari, take in a dance in Cape Town, or enjoy local cuisine at restaurants hand-picked by knowledgeable itinerary planners. Since activities are arranged by African Travel, you'll travel worry-free as all the details are handled.
African Travel offers two types of escorted itineraries--individual departures and small group departures. For individual departures with African Travel, you can choose any day to depart, travel independent of other groups, and enjoy private sightseeing ventures. Small group departures with African Travel operate with four to twelve guests and depart on scheduled dates. African Travel can also customize your travel experience with extensions in destinations like Rwanda or Victoria Falls. A deluxe rail journey from Cape Town to Petroria on the famed Blue Train is another add-on offered by African Travel.
For adventure seekers, African Travel operates a series of Off the Beaten Path programs. These itineraries are more active than other African Travel programs, and they include varying levels of physical activity. You can climb majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, walk Zambia trails with the big game, explore paradise-like islands of Mahe and Praslin off the east coast of Africa, or observe primates in the forests of Uganda.
