Day 1 - Welcome to Buenos Aires, Argentina
Upon arrival you’ll be escorted to the elegant Sofitel Buenos Aires where an upgraded Luxury Room awaits.

Day 2 - Get to know Buenos Aires
This city is a rich mosaic of Spanish, Italian, German and French influences - in its cuisine, architecture and the spirit of its residents. With our expert guide, you’ll explore from Plaza de Mayo to historic districts like La Boca, where the Tango was born. Learn about the life of Eva Peron at the Evita Museum, set inside an historic mansion which she acquired in 1948. This evening, we’ll take you to La Ventana for dinner and a passionate performance of authentic Tango. (B+D)

Day 3 - Charming San Telmo
In a lovely historic district, the weekly San Telmo Antique Fair hosts more than 250 vendors. Join residents who are out to shop and enjoy the impromptu performances of tango and theater that make this one of the city’s liveliest events. Then visit Zanjon de Granados. Discovered in 1986 and dating to the 1700’s, this unique subterranean architectural site encompasses a network of tunnels and cisterns that have been reconstructed and lit; this will be a fascinating look into the earliest days of the city. (B)

Day 4 - Fly to Iguassu Falls, Brazil
Fly to Iguassu and transfer to the luxurious Belmond Das Cataratas, the only hotel inside Brazil’s Iguassu National Park. Explore along the well-maintained trails of the park and thrill to captivating views over the Falls. (B)

Day 5 - Mighty Iguassu Falls
Set out with our expert guide for a full-day tour focusing on all the best vantage points on the Argentine side of Iguassu Falls including the famed Devil’s Throat Cataract, where the thundering waters create thousands of rainbows suspended in mid-air. (B)

Day 6 - Iguassu to Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast you’ll be taken to the airport for your nonstop flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted to the Belmond Copacabana Palace. Retreat to your luxurious oceanview room overlooking one of the world’s most famous beaches. (B)

Day 7 - Out and about in Rio
Visit the Sambodromo where Samba schools compete during Carnival and tour Metropolitan Cathedral, with its stained glass windows that soar more than 200 feet from floor to ceiling. A 2-stage cable car takes you up Sugarloaf Mountain for views over city, mountain + sea. Then ascend Mt. Corcovado to behold the 100-foot tall statue of Christ the Redeemer and enjoy 360° views over Rio. For lunch, savor traditional Brazilian barbecue at a local churrascaria. (B+L)

Day 8 - Depart Rio
Bid farewell and transfer to the airport. (B)
