Itinerary
Day 1 Istanbul
Arrive at any time and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Istanbul
Walking tour of Istanbul including the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and Aya Sofya. (1B)
Days 3-4 Cappadocia
Flight to Ankara then transfer to Cappadocia where we enjoy dinner with a local family. Visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, local villages and enjoy many local scenic walks. (2B,1D)
Day 5 Beysehir
Visit a mysterious underground city, then continue to Beysehir. (1B)
Day 6 Antalya
Early start to Antalya where we take an orientation walk along the charming cobblestone streets. Option to visit the museum or one of the many teashops. (1B)
Days 7-8 Kas
Arrive at the coastal village of Kas. Enjoy a full day boat cruise on the famed turquoise waters of Turkey including local lunch. (2B,1L)
Days 9-10 Dalyan/Fethiye
Travel the stunning Aegean coast to the city of Fethiye. Enjoy a boat trip on the Dalyan River, viewing the famous Carian rock tombs and remains of the ancient city of Kaunos and Dalyan. Also visit to Iztuzu Beach. Option to visit mudbaths. (2B)
Day 11 Pamukkale
Excursion to the 'ghost town' village of Kayaköy. Continue on to Pamukkale for the evening. (1B)
Days 12-13 Selçuk
Guided visit to the white cliffs of Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before arriving at Selçuk. Visit the Roman ruins of Ephesus with optional visit to the Ephesus Museum, and enjoy a visit to the picturesque village of Sirence. (2B)
Day 14 Istanbul
Morning flight to Istanbul, free time to further explore the city. (1B)
Day 15 Istanbul
Depart at any time. (1B)
