Days 2-3 Paleochora/Sougia/Lissos
Enjoy a 2-day sea kayaking excursion, exploring local beaches, ancient temple ruins and swimming in crystal-clear waters. (2B)

Day 4 Omalos
Day hike in the rugged Agia Irini Gorge. (B)

Day 5 Agia Roumeli
Hike the famous and beautiful Samariá Gorge. (B)

Day 6 Loutro/Lykos
Return to your sea kayak, paddling on crystal-clear waters to picturesque fishing villages before enjoying dinner in a local family's home. (B,D)

Day 7 Sfakia/Chania
Continue sea kayaking from Loutro to Sfakia. After a refreshing swim, travel to Chania. (B)

Trek along trails deep into Samariá Gorge and witness the views at Agia Irini. Paddling your kayak past magnificent scenery to secluded beaches, you'll have plenty of chances to dive in and savour the turquoise waters. Encountering Crete and enjoying a meal with a local family will allow you to explore a side of this idyllic island that few travellers get to know.
