Day 1 Rome
Meet in Rome and transfer by train to our agriturismo in the Tuscan countryside. Welcome dinner crafted with produce from the farm itself. (1D)
Days 2 Chianciano Terme
Enjoy a local Italian breakfast before a walk to the village of Chianciano Terme. Free afternoon to relax around the pool or explore the grounds of the farm. In the evening, our host Stefano will take us through a cooking demonstration of some local specialities, which may include gnocchi or farro—the local regional grain, which you will then enjoy for your evening dinner. (1B,1D)
Day 3-4 Chianciano Terme
Free time. Options include visiting Siena, Orvieto, Florence, borrowing a bicycle for a local ride, or enjoy a relaxing traditional spa treatment in one of the local spas. (2B,1D)
Days 5 Chianciano Terme
Tour the agriturismo's orchards, fields and cellar with our host Stefano as he shows us local produce from the ground up and explains his traditional organic methods of cultivation. Depending on the season, you may see olive oil and wine in production. Afternoon wine and olive oil tasting at a local family's cellar before another delicious dinner prepared by our host. (1B,1D)
Day 6 Chianciano Terme/Montalcino
