Bienvenido - welcome to Mexico! Mexico City is ripe for adventure so step out onto the sizzling streets and soak up the sultry vibe of Mexico's capital. 

Days 3-4 Puebla
Named the 'City of Angles', Puebla is the perfect place to discover Mexico's colonial past. Weave through the laneways and enjoy the Poblano treats from the street stalls. 

Days 5-7 Oaxaca
Arriving in the Oaxaca region, test your tastebuds with some of Mexico's culinary heritage where Aztec and Mayan recipes are fused with Spanish influences to create a fiery Oaxacan mole. Salsa between the cobbled streets and the haughty colonial architecture until reaching the commercial chaos of Oaxaca's Mercado de Abastos.
 
Days 8-9 San Cristobal de las Casas
Escape into Mexico's mountains and discover the bohemian hideaway of San Cristobal de las Casas. Unwind in this remote ancient Mayan refuge and savour this serene Mexican village. 

Days 10-11 Palenque
Visit the Palenque ruins and experience Mexico's mysterious Mayan sites. Clamber to the top of the Palenque pyramid and see the same view that the ancient Mayan civilisations worshipped.
 
Days 12-13 Merida
Inhale the invigorating air of the Yucatan Peninsula at Merida. Bound through the bustling Plaza Grande and pick up a panama hat or kick back in the comfort of an authentic Yucatan hammock - a real Mexican treat! 

Days 14-15 Chichen Itza/ Playa del Carmen
Visit the mighty Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza, the archaeological highlight of the Yucatan Peninsula. Get busy relaxing at Playa Del Carmen with a swim or a snorkel - or a Margarita. 

Days 16-17 Tulum
Get ready to be wowed by the stunning beachside Mayan ruins of Tulum. As the sun drops behind the horizon of the Yucatan Peninsula, witness the incredible sight as the Tulum ruins soak up the sunset hues. 

Days 18-19 Caye Caulker
Off the coast of Belize, discover the Caribbean treasure of Caye Caulker. Relax to the reggae beat in this retreat evocative of Paradise. Take a deep breath and inhale the fume-free air or if something more energetic is on the cards, maybe enjoy a spot of snorkelling or scuba diving. Caye Caulker's marine park is not to be missed by underwater enthusiasts. 

Days 20-21 San Ignacio
Wander amongst the flutter of flapping wings in the lush surroundings of San Ignacio's butterfly garden. Saunter out to Xunantunich to unearth the Mayan history of Belize. 

Days 22-23 Flores/ Tikal
Wander through the winding streets of Flores, Guatemala's tiny island on Lago de Peten Itza. Take a trip to Tikal and explore the hidden Mayan passageways in the jungle. 

Days 24-25 Rio Dulce
Arrive at the Sweet River, Rio Dulce, and step into a lancha for a relaxing cruise. Loosen up at the local hot springs and enjoy this beautiful Guatemalan retreat. 

Day 26 Antigua
Nestled amongst twin volcanoes, wander the World Heritage-listed streets of Antigua, Guatemala's gorgeous old colonial capital. 

Days 27-28 San Jorge La Laguna/ Chichicastenango
Find a bargain at the famous Chichicastenango markets, explore Lake Atitlan or take off on a mountain bike to explore the surrounding landscape. 

Days 29-31 Antigua
Back in the luxury of Antigua, end a fantastic adventure with an optional day trip to the steaming Pacaya Volcano.
