Etosha National Park, one of the largest parks in Africa at nearly 14,000 square miles, is a highlight of Namibia tours. It is home to elephants, lions, rhinos and antelope, among other species. At Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert, visitors can photograph the striking red-orange sand dunes or join game drives along the dry riverbeds in search of oryxes, gemsboks and ostriches. Namibia tours may also call at dramatic Fish River Canyon, the second largest gorge in Africa. The coastal town of Swakopmund is graced with palm trees, promenades and public gardens.
