Days 1-3 Kathmandu/Chitwan National Park
Namaste! Welcome to Nepal.

Please make your way to the Kathmandu Guesthouse lobby where you will find the Travel information desk. Please meet there at 17:00 (5:00pm) the day prior to departure

We leave Kathmandu at 7am, travelling by bus to Chitwan National Park (approx 5 hours) where you will be met and transferred to your accommodation.

Of all the world's remaining jungles, this is one of the most enchanting. Discover a lost world of towering trees and twisting vines, of pre-historic rhinos and lumbering elephants, of crocodiles, pythons and deer, of brilliantly coloured birds and - if you are fortunate - the superb royal Bengal tiger. We stay in the small village of Sauraha, on the edge of the park by the banks of the river Rapti.

Boat along the Rapti River on the park's boundary, which shelters about a quarter of the world's remaining gharial population. This fish-eating crocodile has long been hunted for the supposed aphrodisiac qualities of its snout.

Enjoy a guided jeep safari to twenty thousand lake and a guided bird watching experience.

Use traditional ox-cart transportation to tour around a local village.

Cap the experience off with a night performance - a traditional stick dance performed by the local Tharu people.

Day 4 Kathmandu
Board the bus back to Kathmandu (approx 5 hrs) where your adventure concludes. There is no accommodation included tonight. If you would like to stay for longer, please enquire with your booking agent.
