Deposit and Final Payment

To reserve an African Travel, Inc. tour, a deposit equal to 20% of your total trip cost is required to book your space.

A late booking fee for additional communications, faxes and express mail costs will be charged when applicable.

African Travel, Inc. accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover.

If departure date is within 65 days, full payment will be required in lieu of deposit.

Tour arrangements are intended for persons of reasonably good health and without physical disabilities, which would create a hazard either for the passenger or other passengers. By forwarding deposit for passage, the passenger certifies that he or she does not have any physical disability that might create a hazard for themselves or other tour participants. African Travel, Inc., reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a tour participant should such person's health or mental condition impede the operation of the tour.

Cancellation and Refunds

90-60 days prior to departure 20% of tour cost*
60-21 days prior to departure 50% of tour cost*
21 days or less prior to departure No refund*

*Plus applicable third party charges.

Tour planning, preparation, marketing and operational costs ARE included in the tour price.

All U.S. and International Taxes & Fees imposed by governments and airlines are NOT included in the tour rates quoted, these will be additional.

A fee for additional communications, and expedited mail costs will be charged when applicable.

A fee of $100 will be charged for a revision to a confirmed itinerary.

In some instances, lost and/or unused airline tickets are not refundable or replaceable.

Refunds will not be made for occasional missed meals or services, nor for any absence from the tour of less than 4 consecutive days, or for hotel accommodations not utilized. Applications for refunds must be made in writing to African Travel, Inc., within 30 days of tour termination.

Deposit, payment and cancellation terms may differ for group bookings.

Timetables and rates are subject to change, and exceptions may apply for holiday departures; please confirm payment and cancellation policies with your Vacations To Go travel counselor at time of booking.

Purchase of an insurance plan may reduce or eliminate the cancellation and interruption fees outlined above. For more information please call your Vacations To Go travel counselor.
