A warm "aloha" awaits visitors to Hawaii. Highlights of the islands include Kauai's Waimea Canyon, also known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific," the steaming fire pits and lava tubes of Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island, Haleakala Crater on Maui, and Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial in Honolulu. Tours that focus exclusively on the South Pacific islands are very rare. You are more likely to find Fiji and Tahiti on itineraries to Australia and New Zealand. Bali is included on some itineraries in Southeast Asia.
Because in some cases you'll need to fly a long distance to reach your departure city, we suggest that you arrive at the departure city at least one or two days in advance of your trip.
