The beautiful capital city of Stockholm is a focus of Sweden tours.
Stroll the narrow cobblestone streets of Gamla Stan, the city's old quarter, or tour the
great 17th-century warship Vasa, which sank just a few minutes into its maiden voyage
and was salvaged in 1961. Other Stockholm sights include the Royal Palace, Storkyrkan
Cathedral and City Hall, where the Nobel Prize banquets are held. Stockholm is built
on a series of islands connected by bridges, and your itinerary may include a short
cruise for views of the city from the water.
