Arrive at any time. An arrival transfer is included.

Day 2 Bangkok
Have an introductory Thai language lesson than take a boat along the Klong canal to visit the Grand Palace and sacred emerald Buddha at Wat Phra Kaeo Temple. Overnight train to Chiang Mai.(B)

Day 3 Chiang Mai
Visit the Doi Suthep Buddhist Temple and have the chance to listen to Monks chanting. Also enjoy a Kantoke dinner of local specialties with traditional music and dance. Option to visit the elephant conservation center or visit local handicraft workshops.(B)

Day 4 Chiang Mai
Under the guidance of a local Chef we take a Thai cooking class and enjoy our creations for lunch. Later relaxe with a traditional Thai massage and visit the bustling Chiang Mai night market. Option for shopping.(B,L)

Day 5 Siem Reap–Angkor
Flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Option to visit the exciting night market.(B)

Days 6 & 7 Siem Reap–Angkor
Spend 2 days touring the Angkor Wat Temple complex with a local expert guide. Visit and Khumer lunch at New Hope, a local school and Planeterra-supported project. Option to visit Angkor national museum and Tonle Sap floating village.(2B,1L)

Day 8 Phnom Penh
Drive to Phnom Penh and explore recent history with a local expert visiting the Tuol Sleng Prison museum and the Choeung Ek memorial (Killing Fields). Option to take a cyclo city tour and visit the Foreign Correspondents club for drinks.(B)

Days 9 & 10 Ho Chi Minh City
Flight to Ho Chi Minh City where we take a thrilling cyclo-tour of the bustling city. On day 10, a local expert takes us back in history to the Cu Chi tunnels, which were legendary during the 1960's when they played a vital part in the Vietnam war.(2B)

Day 11 Hanoi
Flight to Hanoi. With a local guide, we visit the old quarter for an orientation walk and water puppet show.(B)

Day 12 Halong Bay
Visit Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum and Halong Bay overnight cruise in traditional junk boat with our local guide. Explore some of the limestone caves dotted around the bay and enjoy a sumptuous seafood dinner.(B,L,D)

Day 13 Hanoi
Morning cruise around Halong Bay before transfer back to Hanoi. Option to visit local shops, markets and museums in Hanoi.(B)

Day 14 Bangkok
Flight to Bangkok, and farewell dinner at a high-rise restaurant overlooking the city.(B,D)
