Day 3 Exploring NYC.
(Relaxed Start) A Local Expert will lay bare the city highlights; marvel at New York's iconic Empire State and Chrysler buildings and walk through some of Central Park's gardens. Later, witness the hustle and bustle of Grand Central Station with a Local Expert. The rest of the day is at leisure. (Full Breakfast)

Day 4 Vanderbilt’s Newport and Boston.
Journey to historic Newport, Rhode Island. Travel along Ocean Drive, lined with the Gilded Age mansions of America's wealthiest families. Visit The Breakers, the grandest of Newport's summer 'cottages' and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's preeminence during the turn of the century in the United States. (Full Breakfast)

Day 5 Historic Boston.
(Relaxed Start) Gain a fascinating insight into the history of 'Beantown' during the morning's historical sightseeing tour. With several stops along Boston's famed Freedom Trail, you'll hear about the struggle and courage of the American colonists during revolutionary times. View the colourful neighbourhoods of Back Bay and North End. With a student guide, visit prestigious Harvard University, founded in 1636. In the evening, relax over a delicious Highlight Dinner with wine in the Long Wharf's oldest surviving structure and John Hancock's former counting house. (Full Breakfast / Dinner with Wine)

Day 6 Exploring the Streets of Philadelphia.
Set out for Philadelphia, founded by the Quakers to escape religious persecution and known as the 'City of Brotherly Love'. In the evening, enjoy a Highlight Dinner with wine at Davio's; a jewel in the Philadelphia restaurant world. (Full Breakfast / Dinner with Wine)

Day 7 Monumental Washington, DC.
(Relaxed Start) In the morning, view UNESCO listed Independence Hall, where America's founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, and see the cracked Liberty Bell before you set out for Washington, DC. In the evening, contemplate the dazzling lights of the city and gaze at the night sky on an illumination tour. (Full Breakfast)

Day 8 Washington, DC Sightseeing.
Experience an insightful visit to the historic National Building Museum before it's open to the public. View some of the capital's most famous landmarks. Contemplate and be inspired during your visit to the World War II and Lincoln memorials. Afterwards, enjoy an exclusive meeting with a former espionage agent. Hear fascinating untold stories of the Cold War; an era when real battles were often fought behind the scenes between the CIA and the KGB.
