Day 1 Lima, Peru
Welcome to Lima, Peru where your journey into wonder begins as with a warm greeting by the crew as you step on board Scenic Eclipse. Raise your glass this evening and toast the start of your luxurious cruise. (Dinner)

Day 2 Parcas
Parcas Bay, where the desert and the sea come together in spectacular landscapes. The cliffs that frame the beaches are prolific with wildlife including millions of seagulls and cormorants that are year round residents, as well as many migratory birds including guano birds and Humboldt penguins.

Enrich
Witness a private performance of entertaining Peruvian musicians as you sample the national drink, the pisco sour against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 At sea
Relax and enjoy the amazing facilities of your floating resort and perhaps take a dip in the Scandinavian inspired plunge pools. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6 Valparaiso, Chile
The World Heritage-listed city of Valparaíso welcomes you with its long and colourful history dating back to the conquistadors.

Freechoice: Experience the winding cobblestone labyrinths of alleyways and bustling streets or travel to the Casablanca Valley and taste some of Chile’s finest vintages. Alternatively, visit Viña del Mar and discover why it is known as the ‘Garden City’. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7 At sea
Relaxation beckons with so many choices on board you will wonder how time passes so quickly. Choose one of the daily activities, join an entertaining discussion in the Theatre, or make time for yourself in the Senses Spa. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 Puerto Montt
At the very end of the Pan American highway is Puerto Montt, which is the starting point for a fabled land of fjords, canals, islands, snow-capped volcanoes, green-forested hills and the enchantment of Southern Chile.

Freechoice: Visit Puerto Varas and Frutillar. Alternatively, explore Osorno Volcano and Petrohué Falls or the Felmer Museum and Frutillar. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 9 Castro
Visit Castro, where colourful wooden stilt houses line the waterfront and the Chilote culture is seen throughout the World Heritage-listed churches and architecture.

Today choose one of our Scenic Freechoice activities or join a more active Scenic Discovery excursion.

Freechoice: Explore Castro and two of the World Heritage-listed chapels or discover the village of Dalcahue and the island of Quinchao. Alternatively, see the farmlands and countryside on horseback.

Discovery: Travel to the Chiloé National Park and stroll the Tepual pathway through a forest of tepu. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 10 Inner Fjords
Journey to one of the most spectacular locations in Southern Chile. Board a local catamaran and cruise into the Laguna San Rafael via a narrow opening revealing fantastic views of ice and the San Valentin Glacier. As a dramatic backdrop, the San Valentin Mountain rises from this massive ice field which is part of the Laguna San Rafael National Park.

Visit a coastal village, located between the mouth of the Baker River, the largest river in Chile, and a small embankment of the Baker Channel. The surrounding geography is rugged, formed by a number of islands, fjords, channels and estuaries. Cruise the Angostura Ingles (English Narrows) at the foot of the massive Darwin Cordillera mountain range, the majestic scenery and wildlife of the inner passages of the Chilean Channels is an assault on the senses. Watch from the Sun Terrace, the Observation Terrace or your private verandah as the Captain and local Chilean Pilot expertly manoeuvre Scenic Eclipse through the islands and channel markers of the English Narrows. Days 11-13 Inner Fjords

Day 14 Punta Arenas
Not far from Patagonia, the city is located in the extreme south of Chile with a port and sheep-breeding history, the gateway into Antarctica will captivate you with its clean air and sophisticated European architecture.

Freechoice: Join a local guide for a walking tour of Punta Arenas, or visit the Magellan Strait Park and Fort Bulnes and learn the history of this area. Choose to step back in time with a visit to the Nao Victoria’s full-size replica of the Magellan’s ship at Salesian Museum or visit an estancia and discover a new way of life. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 15 Chilean Fjords
Enjoy days of cruising cruising await as you traverse the Agostini and Garibaldi Fjords. Glaciers abound with the Monte Buckland mountain range as the backdrop. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 16 Chilean Fjords
A day of cruising and exploration. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 17 Cape Horn
The point where the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean meet, Cape Horn is steeped in maritime history and is the southernmost headland of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago and the southernmost tip of Chile. Weather permitting, our landing on Cape Horn will show the true skill of our Captain, Crew and the Discovery Team. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 18 Ushuaia, Argentina > El Calafate
Your cruise ends this morning as disembark and make your way to Welcome to El Calafate, the gateway to the Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina Patagonia. Meet your Tour Director and enjoy a relaxing three night stay. (Breakfast)

Day 19 El Calafate
Established in 1937 as a national park, the World Heritage-listed Los Glaciares National Park is sure to be a highlight. Cruise close to the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier, whose face rises an average of 74 metres above the surface of the water. Then take a guided walk along the boardwalk for views across the top of the impressive 250 square kilometre glacier.

Toast your day in this natural wonderland framed by the spectacular backdrop of Perito Moreno Glacier.

Day 20 El Calafate
Discover the traditional way of life on an estancia (ranch) in the Argentine countryside, surrounded by glaciers, snow peaks and lakes of great natural beauty. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 21 El Calafate > Torres del Paine National Park, Chile
Drive to Patagonia and reach your luxurious retreat, set in the heart of the park on the shores of Lake Pehoé, the perfect base for a four night Special Stay. Settle into your tastefully appointed room, with sweeping views across the lake to the Paine Massif and enjoy a range of included excursions each day, complimentary beverages and delicious meals featuring Patagonian specialities. Day 22 Torres del Paine National Park
Your exciting adventure into one of the most spectacular national parks in the world begins. Boasting glaciers, waterways, the peaks of the Paine Massif and a range of wildlife including the elusive puma, your days exploring will be a memory to treasure.

Freechoice: Over the next three days, there are several small group activities for you to choose from and enjoy at your own pace.

Days 23-24 Torres del Paine National Park
Explore Torres del Paine National Park and enjoy a range of small group activities to choose from.

Day 25 Torres del Paine National Park > Santiago
Savour the last views of the massifs of Torres del Paine before flying to the quirky Chilean capital of Santiago for an overnight stay. (Breakfast)

Day 26 Santiago
Say farewell as you transfer to Santiago airport, taking away a lifetime of wonderful memories with you. (Breakfast)
