Guaranteed Prices - All tour prices are per person and are guaranteed at the time of booking. All prices are per person in US dollars. Tour prices include all listed motorcoach, rail and cruise transportation, hotel accommodations, special events, entertainment, sightseeing, luggage handling and services of Tauck's Tour Director. All necessary gratuities for bellmen, doormen, dining room servers, housekeepers, local guides, and ship and train crew are also included. Airport transfers are included on select tours. Tour Prices Do Not Include Airfare to the tour departure point or from the tour ending point. While not included in the tour price, Tauck offers special reduced roundtrip fares when purchased in conjunction with a tour (rates subject to availability). You are urged to use these selected flights which will be met by your Tauck Tour Director. These airlines and flights have been carefully chosen as the most convenient; they best fit the schedule of the first day. Space may be limited depending on time of booking. Please call your Vacations To Go travel counselor for more information. Business class is one of life's great pleasures; inquire at time of booking for details on special fares that may be available. Tour Director and Driver Gratuities - The customary gratuities to the Tauck Tour Director and the driver are not included and should be extended on a voluntary, individual basis. Hotel Rooms Before or After Tours Are Not Included - Tauck has special hotel rates and can assist in arranging nights before or after your tour to help get you better acclimated. Reservations are on a space available basis and charges will be made to your tour cost. Note: Airport transfers are not included for these bookings. Please ask your Vacations To Go travel counselor for more information. Hotels - The Tauck standard is to provide the best available hotels without sacrificing value. Although the quality of accommodation may differ from place to place, this standard remains uncompromised. Two-bedded rooms are reserved in most hotels. Triples are a two-bedded room plus a roll-away cot and are not recommended for comfort. Single Rooms - Since hotel rates are per room, the tour price for rooms occupied by one person is higher than those where two or more persons share the cost of a room. Please note most single rooms are smaller than double rooms and have only one bed. Singles who wish to share with another guest should request this at time of booking; reservations will be designated as a "single-share-if-possible" basis. The single price is charged initially; upon departure, if another guest is willing to "share", the difference between the single price and the per person twin price will be refunded. Shares cannot be guaranteed. Meals - Most meals are included as specified in the itinerary. Meal codes are: B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner. Special dietary requests may not be available, please confirm any special needs with your Vacations To Go travel counselor. Special Requests - Tauck will be happy to advise the ship and/or hotels of special requests provided they are received at time of booking. Requests cannot be guaranteed. Personal Expenses, such as phone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mineral waters, soft drinks, laundry, visa fees, vaccinations, airline excess baggage charges and other extras are not included and may be significant. Smoking is not permitted on motorcoaches. Please note: Some restaurants in Asia do not have smoking restrictions. Clothing - Please confirm proper attire with your Vacations To Go travel counselor. Passports/Visas - US citizens will need a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond completion of the tour plus visas for Turkey and Russia, which can be obtained at an additional cost. Non-US citizens should contact their local embassy or consulate to determine if visas are required. Due to airline security measures, the name on your passport must match the name on your airline ticket and tour reservation. Please note: US citizens traveling to Asia and Africa need a passport valid for at least 7 months beyond completion of the tour. A Visa is mandatory for travel to mainland China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Kenya, Tanzania, and Egypt. Non-US citizens must also have a passport valid for 7 months beyond the completion of the tour and should contact their local consulate to determine if visas are required. Membership & Health - Membership will be granted to all persons. Tauck reserves the right to terminate the tour of any persons who are abusive of others or whose behavior disrupts the tour. Travelers should be in reasonably good health. Most tours require considerable walking, often on uneven terrain. Many sites have limited motor coach access and involve stairs and inclines. Any person who needs assistance with walking, dining, or personal needs must have a companion to assist them. Please consult your physician for pre-departure health advice. Roads in rural and wildlife areas are bumpy and dusty. While Tauck provides reliable and comfortable vehicles, land travel can be slow in wilderness areas. Vaccination for yellow fever is required for travel in Tanzania. Malaria pills are recommended for all travel in Africa. Consult your physician for pre-departure health advice. Please call your Vacations To Go tour counselor for more information. Itinerary Changes & Flexibility - Tauck World Discovery pledges to make every effort to operate all tours as advertised. Travelers should be as flexible as situations may arise, voluntary or involuntary, that necessitate schedule changes or exceptions to the itinerary. These may include museum closures. On these occasions, Tauck reserves the right to make changes as necessary. Any savings realized by these changes will be refunded to passengers. Any resultant added expense will be borne by Tauck. Departure Changes - In the unlikely event unforeseen circumstances necessitate the cancellation of a tour departure, Tauck will ensure a smooth transition to a different date. Tauck will cover airline penalties or other costs associated with the change in travel arrangements. Deposit Date - To hold space up until the time of "final payment", a deposit ($600 - $1,100 required, plus the optional travel insurance) must be received by the "deposit due date" or space is automatically released. Any bookings without full payment at designated time may be subject to cancellation without notice. Final Documents, which may include airline tickets when applicable, are sent by first class mail upon receipt of final payment. Cancellation and Transfer Fees - Regardless of reason, cancellations and transfers result in costly charges from Tauck's travel and hotel providers. Therefore, fees will apply without exception. These fees apply whether or not a person transfers to another tour departure. Time of cancellation will be when notice is received by Tauck. The price charged the remaining person(s) is the new, higher price for the new accommodations. Baggage Responsibility - Baggage allowance varies depending on your region of travel. Please confirm baggage height, width, and weight with your Vacations To Go travel counselor to avoid excess baggage charges. Regulation within most airports requires that travelers handle their own luggage through customs. Although Tauck makes every effort to handle guests' luggage carefully, Tauck cannot be responsible, assume liability or accept claims for loss or damage to luggage and personal effects due to breakages, theft, or fair wear and tear through hotel, airline or group carrier handling. It is important that you have adequate insurance, please ask your Vacations To Go travel counselor for more information. Guest Protection Plan - Should your tour be canceled or interrupted, a non-refundable Guest Protection Fee waives all cancellation and interruption fees, provided Tauck is notified of cancellation before the tour departs. The cancellation and interruption fees are waived regardless of reason, and land tour costs will be refunded by Tauck World Discovery. In addition, this plan provides comprehensive travelers insurance and 24-hour emergency assistance. Coverage for the following elements is provided by Berkely Care, Ltd. and is subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy. Airfare Protection - Should you need to cancel or interrupt your Tauck tour for covered medical reasons, airfares and air penalties are covered. Medical Protection - You are reimbursed for covered medical expenses incurred in the event you become injured or ill during your trip. Baggage Protection - You are reimbursed for lost, stolen or damaged luggage. This optional Guest Protection Plan must be requested at time of reservation and fee must be included in initial payment.
