Trafalgar travel is primarily via motorcoach, but your trip may include a spectacular mountain ascent on a cog railway or a ride on the famous TGV train through France. Trafalgar tours travel during the day, stopping at key sights along the route. Each tour provides the perfect balance between organized sightseeing and leisure time for exploration. At the end of the day, return to a comfortable room in a welcoming hotel. Hotels typically have a minibar, coffee-maker, lounge and restaurant, room service and concierge, and many also have a swimming pool, health club and shops. Trafalgar also chooses hotels based on location, so you are never far from stores, restaurants, cafes and historic and scenic sights. In Britain and Europe, for example, Trafalgar may use hotels near Hyde Park in London or near the Plaza Mayor in Madrid.
Trafalgar vacations include the services of tour directors who are among the best in the business. Tour directors provide travel groups with in-depth cultural and historical knowledge about destinations, and they point out hot spots to explore during allotted free time.
