You will fly over the international date line on your way to Adelaide, Australia.

On arrival in Adelaide you will be transferred to your hotel (flights to arrive prior to 12pm). See the sights of Adelaide then join a Food Expert for a guided tour of the 140 year old Adelaide Market, a Local Speciality. Enjoy the hustle and bustle, sample the culinary delights, meet the traders and share the history and the secrets of the Market. This evening relax with your Travel Director and fellow travellers at a Welcome Reception and dinner. (Welcome Reception / Dinner)

Today’s journey takes you north for a Local Speciality Wine Tasting at Sevenhill Cellars, the oldest existing winery in the Clare Valley. Travel through the spectacular Flinders Ranges and to Wilpena Pound, a remarkable natural amphitheatre covering nearly 19,770 acres. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Enjoy time to explore Wilpena Pound, before you travel through picturesque Pitchi Richi Pass to Port Augusta where you’ll visit the Wadlata Outback Centre. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Visit Woomera before travelling to isolated Coober Pedy, the opal capital! Visit an underground church and home with a Local Guide and view an opal demonstration. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Cross the border into the Northern Territory and continue to Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park and your Authentic Accommodation. This evening enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and canapés as the sun sets over the western horizon and the evening sky brings out the many shades of colour for which Uluru is renowned. Rise early to view sunrise at Uluru then enjoy a guided walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. Hear stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime and Unique Insights into local Aboriginal culture. Stop at the informative Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. This afternoon visit Kata Tjuta and spend time exploring Walpa Gorge. Take in a magnificent outback sunset at Kata Tjuta with a complimentary glass of wine and nibbles. (Buffet Breakfast)

Travel to Kings Canyon. On the way marvel at Atila (Mt. Conner) the 'forgotten wonder of Central Australia'. Continue to Kings Creek Station. Established in 1982 by Ian and Lyn Conway, the station was originally vacant crown land and covers and area of 1,800 square kilometres. It runs cattle and is the largest exporter of wild camels in Australia. Continue to Kings Canyon Resort. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Perfect for observing the changing colours of the landscape, today you’re off on an early morning 6km Rim Walk exploration of the spectacular Kings Canyon. If you’d prefer a more relaxed walk we also offer the option of a creek bed walk, where you’ll explore the rock strewn canyon floor. Leaving Watarrka behind, you’ll travel to Alice Springs. On arrival visit Anzac Hill for views over this outback town. (Buffet Breakfast)

Spend time with a local Aboriginal Guide for your Unique Insight at the Alice Springs Desert Park. You will learn of life and survival of the Arrernte People, including bush food, the search for water and kinship. Visit the Nocturnal House and enjoy reserved seating at the Birds of Prey Presentation. Continue on to Simpsons Gap, a prominent waterhole in the West MacDonnell Ranges, with its lovely river red gum scenery. Visit the School of the Air, which provides an educational service for children living in remote areas, and the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Hear from a Local Expert how this marvellous facility operates to provide a 'mantle of safety' to the people of the outback.This evening join us on a discovery tour at the Earth Sanctuary World Nature Centre. Enjoy a Be My Guest dinner and afterwards hear from the Falzon brothers, Tom and Danny, about the sustainable lifestyle they have established. They may even lead you on a sing-a-long accompanied by the didgeridoo and guitar. (Buffet Breakfast / Be My Guest Dining)

Visit the historic Telegraph Station before travelling north to Karlu Karlu (Devil’s Marbles). There is time to walk around these precariously balanced boulders. Tonight enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner at the Battery Hill Mine Centre and explore the interesting mining displays. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Travel across vast outback stations. Visit the historic Daly Waters Hotel, before continuing into ‘Never Never’ country. Stop at the tropical oasis of Mataranka for a relaxing dip in the thermal springs, a Local Speciality. Or stroll through the Elsey Homestead replica. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Join a Local Expert on an early morning cruise through Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk National Park and then continue deep into Kakadu National Park. Later cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong with a Local Expert. You should see a variety of birdlife and with luck, you may also see the feared estuarine crocodile basking in the muddy shallows. You'll stay in the Indigenous-owned Authentic Accommodation. Your first stop is the Bowali Visitor Centre. The displays here will take you on a journey through Kakadu’s varied habitats and landscapes. Travel to Ubirr and view Aboriginal rock art dating back some 20,000 years. Climb to the top of this rocky outcrop for rewarding views over the flood plains and escarpment country. This afternoon travel to Darwin and enjoy a sightseeing tour of this tropical city on arrival. (Buffet Breakfast)

Travel to Litchfield National Park to see beautiful Florence and Wangi Falls and the mysterious Magnetic Termite Mounds. Join your Travel Director for a Farewell Dinner Cruise on Darwin Harbour (weather permitting). Enjoy a delicious buffet meal as you watch the sunset over Darwin and the surrounding area - it's time to celebrate your Northern Territory outback adventure! (Buffet Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)
