MS Roald Amundsen

MS Roald Amundsen is a supremely comfortable base camp at sea, and the stunning scenery she passes through will be reflected in the luxe and stylish interior design. Natural Scandinavian materials such as granite, oak, birch and wool are used to create relaxed and well-designed cabins and welcoming public areas.

Onboard recreation and dining will be top quality, with a swimming pool and fine Norwegian dining on offer. Also, MS Roald Amundsen was the first expedition ship ever to sail with electric hybrid technology. This reduces fuel consumption approximately 20% and enables the ship to sail on 100% electric power for up to 30 minutes, allowing you to experience the wonders of Antarctica in nearly total silence.
