From a bagpiper playing as you step onto the train to fresh scones served aboard straight from the oven, Rocky Mountaineer’s hospitality team is eager to provide a terrific travel experience the moment you arrive at the train station. As you embark on your journey with fellow travelers, onboard hosts celebrate the start of your trip with a toast and share stories throughout the day about the history and nature surrounding the train.
Choose from two levels of service -- SilverLeaf or GoldLeaf -- for the rail portion of your trip aboard the Rocky Mountaineer. SilverLeaf Service features roomy, air-conditioned rail cars with enhanced viewing and hot entree options for breakfast and lunch served at your seat. GoldLeaf Service features bi-level domed rail cars with air conditioning and panoramic views; gourmet breakfasts and lunches are served in the lower-level dining room. Snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary aboard the train for both levels of service.
Rocky Mountaineer does not have sleeper cars. After spending your day winding through stunning landscapes that are inaccessible to other vehicles, you’ll transfer to a high-quality hotel for the evening.
