AmaWaterways will introduce a new collection of Europe itineraries this year that were developed in collaboration with Smithsonian Journeys. On every trip with AmaWaterways, the upfront price covers onboard meals and unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks at lunch and dinner, plus a "Sip & Sail" cocktail hour. Also included is a night at the Chef's Table Restaurant, where six remarkable courses are served with a selection of wines, and chefs prepare and plate the meal in front of you.

Menus on board feature locally sourced ingredients and recipes, and you'll be taken care of by crew members who go above and beyond to ensure a care-free experience. There are inviting public spaces on the ship for sightseeing, and many staterooms feature twin balconies: a French balcony with glass doors that open to a railing and a full balcony that you can walk out on.

AmaWaterways' rates also include a choice of complimentary excursions in each port of call, from walking tours of historic districts and guided hiking and biking trips to unique cultural events. On Rhine cruises in the wine-making town of Rudesheim, for example, you can take in panoramic views on a gondola ride to the Niederwald monument, hike through the town's vineyards or join a tasting of iconic wines.
