Palace on Wheels
India's Palace on Wheels departs from New Delhi and during its eight day journey, travels around Rajasthan with stops in Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Sawai Madhopur, Chittaurgarh, Udaipur, Bharatpur, and Agra. Known as a luxury tourist train, it gives passengers the opportunity to embark on an enchanting royal journey through the bygone era of the erstwhile Maharajas.
The train is made up of 14 coaches named after former Rajput states matching the aesthetics and interiors of the royal past. While on board the train, luxurious cabins, wall to wall carpeting, a well stocked bar, two dining cars and a very personalized service give passengers the feeling being in heaven on earth.
