Day 3 - All aboard VIA Rail to Prince George
Board the VIA Rail Canada train this morning to begin your 2-day daylight journey across British Columbia to the Rocky Mountains. This is a true voyage-of-discovery into the natural wonders and history of the region. The ancient traditions of the First Nations, the not-so-distant pioneer days of stern-wheelers and steam engines, and the colorful legacy of gold miners have all left their mark along the tracks. Enjoy congenial onboard dining including wine with dinner and step off in Prince George this evening for an overnight at the Coast Inn of the North. (B+L+D)

Day 5 - Flora and Fauna of Jasper National Park
Take this morning to enjoy the setting of our resort. In the afternoon, a nature walk affords great views of the Angel Glacier. Then discover Medicine Lake and cruise on Maligne Lake, set amidst towering peaks, to step ashore on Spirit Island – one of Canada’s most iconic sights. A wildlife tour in the early evening is the best time to view species like bear, elk, wolf and moose. At Maligne Canyon, you’ll walk along the gorge to see the lower falls. (B+D)
Day 6 - Icefields Parkway to Banff
Travel the spectacular Icefields Parkway to the Sunwapta and Athabasca Falls, both surrounded by towering conifers and rugged peaks. Day 7 - Lake Louise + River Float Adventure
This morning, we take you to Lake Louise, cradled by steep forested slopes that give way to vistas of Victoria Glacier. In the alpine Valley of the Ten Peaks, you’ll stop along the shores of Moraine Lake for a nature walk. Both here and at Lake Louise, you’ll have ample time to take in the scenery or rent a canoe for a bit of independent exploration.
