Day 1 – Welcome to Johannesburg
Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted by private car to your choice of hotel.
Day 2 – City Sightseeing
Offering an in-depth look into South Africa’s turbulent past, your privately guided city tour begins with a visit to the Apartheid Museum (closed on Mondays). Opened in 2002, this important must-see museum takes visitors on a historical voyage of discovery – illuminating the story of Apartheid up to the first democratic elections of 1994. Continue to Constitution Hill, where the city’s new court building sits on the site of the old Johannesburg Fort. Your visit here includes the museum which has been established within the old walls of “Number Four,” one of South Africa’s most notorious prisons which finally closed its doors in 1983. (The museum is closed on Saturday afternoons and Sundays) (B)
Day 3 – Farewell Johannesburg
After breakfast, your private car and driver are waiting to take you to the airport for your onward journey. (B)
