Welcome to Israel, where we'll kick off our tour in the City of Gold. A visit to the Mount of Olives, a religious centre of Christianity, Islam & Judaism, will give us a breathtaking view over the city. (Dinner)

Day 2 Jerusalem
Today we’ll get to know the city a little better with a full day tour, uncovering secrets and culture that dates back thousands of years. We’ll discover Jerusalem’s holy history and key sites, including the Jewish Quarter and the Arab Market. With all that knowledge in our heads and all those exciting snaps in our camera roll, this tour is already proving to be utterly enlightening… (Breakfast)

Day 3 Jerusalem
Jerusalem, we're not done with you yet! We’ll spring out of bed for more exploring, this time going beyond the monuments and digging deep into ancient life. We’ll visit the sobering sites of the Yad Vashem Museum and Memorial, also known as The World Holocaust Remembrance Centre. The Second Temple Model will give us an inkling of what the city looked like in ancient times. (Breakfast)

Day 4 Jerusalem
Our final day in this ancient city is a full free day, which is the perfect chance to opt to head out and experience the ancient allure of the Dead Sea and Masada. You'll drive through Jericho and the Judean hills along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D. Here, ascend Massada by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod, visit the remains of the walls and explore Herod’s Palace. Later, there'll be time to take a dip in the Dead Sea, where you can enjoy the novelty of floating in the unsinkable water and covering yourself with the mineral rich mud. Who needs a fancy spa when you have this? (Breakfast)

Day 5 Jerusalem to Amman via Jerash
This morning, we’ll wrap it up in Jerusalem (bye Israel) and head to Amman, on the border of Jordan. Through pine forests and olive groves we'll drive until we reach the ancient Greco-Roman city of Jerash. Here in Jerash, we’ll uncover the Greek & Roman influences on this holy land, as a tour of the city sees us peruse Corinthian columns and ancient ruins. After an interesting visit and lunch stop at the Treadright-supported Iraq Al-Amir Women's Cooperative Society, we’ll make our way to Amman, Jordan’s capital city. With the knowledge that this afternoon we’ll rally in the Red Rose City of Petra, our anticipation will be at an all-time high.Pinch yourself - we’re in Petra! Cue the collective gasp in awe of this magnificent site, where the hues of pink make us forget what era (and what planet) we’re in. Once we’re done taking our mental (and physical) pictures, we’ll have our socks blown off a second time as our local guide briefs us on the city’s history. Getting up close and personal with Pharaoh’s Castle, the Triumphal Arc and the Treasury, we’ll see just why this is the greatest attraction in the Middle East. After a full day of ooh-ing and aah-ing, we’ll head back to our hotel for an included dinner.
