Day 1 Anchorage, United States of America > Nome
Welcome to Nome, set at the tip of the Seward Peninsula and overlooking the Bering Sea. A world of wonder awaits as you step on board and raise your glass to toast the start of your luxurious cruise.(please book flights to arrive into Anchorage by 3am). (Dinner)

Day 2 At Sea
Relaxation beckons, and with so many choices on board you will wonder how time passes so quickly. Choose one of the daily activities including a class in Scenic Epicure, join an entertaining discussion in the Theatre, or make time for your own fitness regime. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 St. Paul Island
St Paul Island lying in the Bering Sea between USA and Russia, has a land area of just 100km2 and boasts one school, one post office, one bar, one shop and one church. It has also been designated an Important Bird Area, and is the breeding ground for more than 500,000 northern fur seals and millions of seabirds.

Today choose one of our Scenic Freechoice activities or join a more active Scenic Discovery excursion.

Freechoice: Learn the traditions of the Aleut Community, or spend the day with a local fisherman working at sea

Discovery: Join a member of the Discovery Team on a hike and uncover the volcanic history of the island.  (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4 Dutch Harbor
One of the world’s largest and most famous fishing ports, Dutch Harbor, Alaska has a fascinating history. It is the site of the Battle of Dutch Harbor in 1942 when attacked by aerial bombardment from the Japanese, and remains of the only locations on United States soil attacked during World War II.

Freechoice: Cruise along in a local fishing boat while searching for wildlife on the way to the Captains crab cages, or join a guided hike to a WWII Bunker. Alternatively, visit the sites of Unalaska at your leisure with a Hop on Hop Off School Bus. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5 At Sea
Continue to enjoy your time at leisure. Try a game of bridge or canasta in the Observatory Lounge or tempt your palate at a wine tasting. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6 Kodiak
The city of Kodiak played a key role in WWII as a staging point for US operations with Fort Abercrombie built as defence post to protect the naval base. Today Kodiak is renowned for its national parks, salmon fishing and the Kodiak Wildlife Refuge to 3,500 bears.

Today choose one of our Scenic Freechoice activities or join a more active Scenic Discovery excursion.

Freechoice: Discover the wildlife of the Kodiak Archipelago on a speedboat, or see the highlights of Kodiak on a guided tour.

Discovery: Hike parts of the Fort Abercrombie State Park with a local. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7 Homer
Homer is a small city on Kachemak Bay, on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula.

Freechoice: Test your skills with a cooking class on a local island, or while in the ‘Halibut Fishing Capital of the World’, try your luck at catching your own. Alternatively, learn about the intertidal creatures around the Homer Harbor Docks. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 Seward
Experience summer-style dogsledding or join a local whale watching tour. Alternatively, zip line and rappel through a nearby rainforest. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 9 Hubbard Glacier, Canada
Hubbard Glacier is the longest tidewater glacier in the world, stretching 122 kilometres. This mountain of ice exemplifies the grandness of the wilderness. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 10 Juneau
Juneau, Alaska’s state capital, is surrounded by water, forest and mountain sights.

Today choose one of our Scenic Freechoice activities or join a more active Scenic Discovery excursion.

Freechoice: Taste some of the local food and drinks, or  visit the Glacier Garden, also known as the Upside-Down Forest.

Discovery: Kayak near a local glacier or head to the top of Mount Roberts for a hike.

Gain exclusive access to a museum and learn of the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian native cultures of South Alaska. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 11 Petersburg
Petersburg is an island community that continues to make a living from the sea. Enjoy the thriving fishing village with a strong Norwegian heritage. You may even spot some wildlife.

Freechoice: Experience a jet boat adventure past the LeConte Glacier, or explore this small city on a guided tour. Alternatively, join a local for a hike. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 12 Wrangell
Located near the Stikine River, Wrangell is one of the oldest towns in Alaska, with its history seen in the collection of totem poles scattered throughout the town. Surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife, you will soon see why this is known to be the heart of the Inside Passage.

Freechoice: Play a round of golf at a course carved from a rainforest, or venture down the Stikine River on jet boat. Alternatively, choose to see the city of Wrangell on a walking tour. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 13 Prince Rupert
Prince Rupert was once know was the Halibut Capital of the world thanks to the Canadian Fish and Cold Storage that opened in 1912. Today, more than fifty percent of Prince Rupert’s population is made up of the several local First Nations ensuring a rich cultural, art and the culinary experience.

Freechoice: Visit the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary, or learn about the First Nations history and culture. Alternatively, join a nature walk in the Butze Rainforest. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 14 At Sea
Relaxation and rediscovery are yours to enjoy. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 15 Vancouver, Canada
Your cruise ends this morning in Vancouver as you say farewell to your crew. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport. (Breakfast)
