Day 2 LIMA–CUSCO–SACRED VALLEY.
LIMA Fly to Cusco.
SACRED VALLEY Visit Awanakancha to see a pre-Columbian weaving demonstration, and llamas, alpacas, guanacos, and vicuñas. Free time for shopping Pisac’s famous market. (B,L)
Day 3 SACRED VALLEY–MACHU PICCHU–CUSCO.
SACRED VALLEY Scenic ride on the Expedition Train through the Urubamba Valley.
MACHU PICCHU Guided sightseeing at Machu Picchu. Dinner at your nearby hotel. (B,D)
7-8 hours is spent in Machu Picchu/Aguas Calientes region
Day 4 CUSCO.
CUSCO Guided Sightseeing by a Local Guide of semi-circular Kenko Amphitheater, the ancient site of Puca Pucara, and the Temple of Sacsayhuaman. Free time this afternoon. (B)
Day 5 CUSCO.
CUSCO Free day before a farewell dinner this evening. (B,D)
