Day 1 ARRIVE IN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA. Welcome to Australia! Your hotel is available for mid-afternoon check-in. The rest of your day is at leisure. Day 2 SYDNEY. This morning, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour that includes a photo stop at the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, and a visit to stunning Bondi Beach, one of Sydney’s most beautiful beaches. The remainder of the day is yours to explore this vibrant city. You may want to enjoy a cruise on Sydney Harbour and admire stunning views of the city from the water; visit Taronga Zoo to see some of Australia’s native animals, such as koalas, kangaroos, and platypuses; shop for souvenirs; or relax on nearby Manly Beach. Your Local Host will have suggestions for additional sightseeing, dining, and shopping. (B) Day 3 SYDNEY. Enjoy a full day at leisure in this beautiful city. You can explore on your own or choose from a selection of optional activities. You may wish to climb to the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge for unrivaled views; spend the day in Hunter Valley, sampling some of Australia’s best wines; or join a guided backstage tour of the Sydney Opera House. (B) Day 4 SYDNEY–THE OUTBACK (ULURU/AYERS ROCK). Today, fly to the Red Center of Australia. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for the next three nights. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. (B) Day 5 THE OUTBACK (ULURU/AYERS ROCK). This morning, rise early for an inspiring sunrise over Uluru and Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Witness incredible views over the dunes and stunning desert landscape. Continue to Walpa Gorge for a guided walk through Kata Tjuta. Later this afternoon, visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, which houses an amazing collection of ceramics, paintings, and punu (woodwork) from the Anangu people, the traditional custodians of Uluru. Finish the day at “Sunset Strip” for a drink and canapes, and to witness the changing colors of the rock. (B) Day 6 THE OUTBACK (ULURU/AYERS ROCK). A full day to experience more of this unique part of Australia. For an unforgettable experience, you may choose to rise early for an optional camel ride to watch the sunrise at Uluru. You can also choose to take in the grandeur of the Outback on a scenic helicopter flight or via Harley-Davidson motorcycle. In the evening choose from an optional star-gazing program, as well as a special dinner under the stars. (B) Day 7 THE OUTBACK (ULURU/AYERS ROCK). Transfer to Ayers Rock Connellan Airport where you tour ends. (B)
