Day 1 Piraeus (Athens), Greece
Day 2 Paros Island Freechoice: Experience the tastes of the island with a wine, olive and cheese tasting, or enjoy a guided walking tour of Parikia and see a special performance from the male choir inside the Church of 100 Doors. Alternatively, visit the Cycladic village of Marpissa with its whitewashed cubic houses, narrow streets, churches and windmills, or visit a local farm to see the organic production. Day 3 Fiskardo Freechoice: Visit the rolling hills of the Omala Valley to learn about the local wine industry from a wine cooperative, and visit the mesmerising Melissani Lake. Discovery: If you’re feeling active, join a local for a hike or a kayak tour. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4 Kotor, Montenegro Freechoice: Join a guided walking tour of this world heritage listed city, or visit Perast with architecture dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, before boarding a boat to Our Lady of the Rock island to visit the chapel filled with magnificent paintings by local Baroque artists. Alternatively, visit the Old Royal Capital of Montenegro, Cetinje, and the village of Njeguši. Discovery: Join a guided hike of the Kotor city walls to St John’s Fortress and be awed by the views of Kotor and Boka Bay. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5 Dubrovnik, Croatia Freechoice: Discover the historic city centre and visit some of Dubrovnik’s most significant historical landmarks, or walk the city walls, climb the Minceta Tower and hear fascinating stories from your guide. Alternatively see the Croatian country side with a tour to the Konavle Valley, taste local wines and discover the tradition of silk weaving. Discovery: Take a Discovery excursion by kayak and see the medieval walls from the sea.
