Take a journey highlighting the fall foliage, natural beauty, traditional charm and friendly people of New England. Your tour opens in historic Providence, the capital of Rhode Island.

Day 2 Providence - Boston, Massachusetts - Providence
Today you visit the historic city of Boston. Come to know Boston’s Yankee charm during a tour that highlights Beacon Hill, the Old South Meeting House, Boston Public Garden, the historic North End, Old North Church, the USS Constitution and Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Enjoy some leisure time to stroll along part of the famed Freedom Trail, a 2.5 mile walking path through the streets of Boston that showcases the city's historical sites; or perhaps further explore the lively marketplace at Faneuil Hall. (B,D)

Day 3 Providence - Stockbridge, Massachusetts - Manchester Village, Vermont
Depart Providence and head west in search of the fall colors of New England. Make a stop in charming Stockbridge, nestled in the rolling Berkshire Hills. Home to Normal Rockwell, Stockbridge’s quintessential Main Street was immortalized in many of his paintings and retains its small town charm today. Visit the Norman Rockwell Museum to see his work and learn about this American icon. Set out for Vermont, the “Green Mountain State.” Traditional white steeple churches, quaint villages and tree-covered mountainsides dot the charming landscape of your journey. Arrive at your tranquil mountain resort where you will spend two nights surrounded by nature lit up with fall colors. Tonight, savor a private dinner while overlooking the beautiful mountain ranges. (B,D)

Day 4 Manchester Village
Make your way to Hildene House, The Lincoln Family Home, the former home of Robert Todd Lincoln, the son of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln, and the former Chairman of the Pullman Company. Explore this impressive home, the magnificent gardens, and the estate’s vintage Pullman car. Then, return to town for some free time to get to know this historic village and take advantage of the town’s popular outlet stores and boutique shops. (B)

Day 5 Manchester Village - Woodstock - Bethel, Maine
Traveling through the beautiful Green Mountains, witness the transformation of color while en route to Vermont’s Billings Farm and Museum. At this working dairy farm, learn about the variety of livestock they keep, the state’s agricultural culture, and 19th century farming methods. Stop in Woodstock, the “quintessential New England village,” with its lovely village green lined with historic homes. Continue on through the Green Mountains and arrive at the quaint village of Bethel. Settle in for a 2-night stay before dinner this evening. (B,D)

Today we are New Hampshire bound. Soak in the lovely New England countryside as you journey through the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
