Day 1 Reykjavik
Welcome to Reykjavik where a world of wonder awaits as you step on board and raise your glass to toast the start of your luxurious cruise with Scenic Eclipse. Please book your flight to arrive prior to 1pm. (D)

Day 2 Snaefellsnes Peninsula
Join the Discovery Team on deck as you cruise past the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and to look for the interesting wildlife around the waters of the Peninsula. Take the opportunity to discover all the onboard luxury and delight on offer from the Spa Sanctuary to our incredible dining choices. (B,L,D)

Day 3 Denmark Strait
Cruise from Iceland across the Denmark Strait following in the footsteps of Erik the Red to the south east coast of Greenland. The Discovery Team will enthrall you with their knowledge and passion for this region from an informative lecture in the Theatre to watching for whales and seabirds on deck. (B,L,D)

Day 4 Prins Christian Sund
The majestic Prins Christian Sund, is a 100 kilometre long fjord surrounded by towering mountain pinnacles with an abundance of glaciers reaching into the waters, and icebergs floating past. Relax on your verandah or step out on deck for a day of stunning scenery as you cruise through the fjord. (B,L,D)

Day 5 Narsarsuaq
Arrive at the picturesque settlement of Narsarsuaq, on the Tunulliarfik Fjord in Southern Greenland, where you will enjoy some free time to wander through the community.  Visit Brattahlid to discover the Viking heritage of Erik the Red, and step inside the reconstruction of his longhouse, before weaving through icebergs to the Qooroq Icefjord. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Qaqortoq
The largest city in Southern Greenland, with a population of just over 3,000 residents awaits today as you cruise to Qaqortoq. Take a walking tour of the town centre, admire the hillsides of colourful houses painted in bright primary shades and visit the Museum. (B,L,D)

Day 7 At sea
Relax on board and make use of the Spa Sanctuary or even take a yoga class in the studio as you cruise the Labrador Sea. There’ll be insightful lectures and presentations from the Discovery Team in the theatre or perhaps learn some new cooking techniques in Scenic Epicure. (B,L,D)

Day 8 L’Anse aux Meadows
Step back in time to the Viking Era as you visit World Heritage-listed L’Anse aux Meadows, the only known Norse village in North America, discovered by Leif Erikson and his crew of Norse explorers.

Freechoice: Explore Viking heritage on your tour of this unique archaeological site and gain insights into Norse life, or explore the north coast of Newfoundland and search for whales and dolphins on your cruise. (B,L,D)

Day 9 Battle Harbour
For two centuries, Battle Harbour was the economic and social centre of the southeastern Labrador coast of Canada. Your passionate local guide will escort you around this carefully preserved village sharing stories of the traditional life and times of Newfoundlanders and Labradoreans. (B,L,D)

Day 10 Gros Morne National Park
Today be awed by the World Heritage-listed Gros Morne National Park’s ancient landscapes shaped by colliding continents and grinding glaciers.

Freechoice: Explore this natural wilderness with your local guide on a walking tour of the Tablelands or visit the Science Research Centre.

Be swept away by a private performance by the Soundbone Traditional Arts Foundation and immerse yourself in Newfoundland culture with interactive music and dance workshops and storytelling, and learn the traditional art of rug hooking. (B,L,D)

Day 11 Havre St Pierre
Lying on the shores of the Saint Lawrence River, this picturesque port is an undiscovered treasure.

Today choose one of our Scenic Freechoice activities or join a more active Scenic Discovery excursion.

Freechoice: Visit the Innu communities to gain an understanding of the history of these traditional cultures or take a walking tour of the charming town.

Discovery: Take a Scenic Discovery excursion by kayak or, be amazed by the limestone formations on a nature walk at Mingan Archipelago National Park. Alternatively take a guided bike excursion. (B,L,D)

Day 12 Tadoussac
Located at the confluence of the Saguenay and Saint Lawrence Rivers is the charming town of Tadoussac. A whale watchers paradise where their favourite food, krill abounds in massive amounts.

Today choose one of our Scenic Freechoice activities or join a more active Scenic Discovery excursion.

Freechoice: Take a whale-watching adventure to observe the multitude of whale species or venture on a walking tour to uncover the lifestyle of the local residents. Alternatively choose a tasting tour of local delicacies.

Discovery: Take a Scenic Discovery kayak excursion, or a guided nature walk. (B,L,D)

Day 13 Québec City
The stunning city of Québec signals the end of your cruise as you disembark after breakfast, taking with you a lifetime of wonderful memories. Please book your flight to depart after 12pm. (B)
