Day 1 Halifax
Welcome to Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia where you step on board Scenic Eclipse. Please book your flight to arrive prior to 1pm. (Dinner)

Day 2 Louisbourg
The French military founded the Fortress of Louisbourg in 1713. Opening exclusively for Scenic Eclipse guests, visit the fortress after hours and be regaled with tales of days past by the entertaining guides and witness the cannon firing ceremony. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 Rose Blanche
Be welcomed by the community who open their arms to receive Scenic Eclipse guests and share their way of life with you.

Freechoice: Join one of the residents for a walking tour of this small community or a walk to the lighthouse. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4 Charlottetown
Charlottetown is the birthplace of the Canadian Confederation and the inspiration for Anne of Green Gables.

Old Town Lunenburg will charm you with its unique architecture and tall ships moored in the harbour.

Day 7 St. Andrews
Located on Passamaquoddy Bay, St. Andrews is Canada’s oldest seaside resort town and one of the best-preserved examples of colonial heritage in North America.

Day 9 Martha’s Vineyard

Day 10 New York City

Day 11 Poughkeepsie
Say farewell to the Statue of Liberty and admire the fascinating scenery as Scenic Eclipse navigates the Hudson River heading north this morning to the Hudson River Valley and the home of Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Freechoice: Explore the home of Franklin D. Roosevelt and his Presidential Library or take a walking tour of Poughkeepsie including the walkway across the Hudson River. You may choose to explore the art and architecture of the city including a visit to the Frances Lehman Art Centre. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 12 At sea
Relaxation beckons and with so many choices on board you will wonder how time passes so quickly. Choose one of the daily activities including a class in Scenic Epicure, join an entertaining discussion in the Theatre or make time for your own fitness regime. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 13 Baltimore
Baltimore was named by the Irish House of Lords after Lord Baltimore. Settled in the early 17th century, the vibrant waterfront was the heart of the historic tobacco trade and a major seaport on the east coast.

Day 14 Norfolk
The historic port of Norfolk lies at the entrance to Chesapeake Bay and is home to the Norfolk Naval Base.

Day 15 Norfolk > At sea
Depart Norfolk this morning and cruise south along the East Coast of the USA. After busy days exploring, relax on board. Day 16 Wilmington
Rich in history and folklore with an impressive historic centre full of churches, classic architecture, streets lined with moss-draped oaks and antebellum homes, Wilmington is waiting for you to uncover its secrets.

Freechoice: Explore the elegant historic houses of Wilmington’s three prominent families or take a horse drawn carriage tour through the picturesque historic district. For something different, visit notable film and television locations with a local expert or uncover the craft beer scene on a tour.

Day 17 Charleston
Founded in 1670 in honour of King Charles II of England, Charleston played an important role in the American Civil War and the Afro American history, with nearly half of the Africans brought to America arriving via this historic port.

Freechoice: Visit Boone Hall Plantation, enter the Plantation House, see the former slave cabins and picturesque gardens or take a tour of the historic centre of this important port city.
