Day 4 Boston > Washington D.C.
Fly to the capital of the United States of America, Washington D.C. and visit the White House, Capitol Building and the Lincoln Memorial. Settle into your luxurious hotel for a two night stay. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 5 Washington D.C.
Monuments and memorials, eclectic neighbourhoods, Smithsonian trails – Washington D.C. is a place unlike any other. Day 6 Washington D.C. > New York City

Day 10 Poughkeepsie
Say farewell to the Statue of Liberty and admire the fascinating scenery as Scenic Eclipse navigates the Hudson River heading north this morning to the Hudson River Valley and the home of Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Freechoice: Explore the home of Franklin D. Roosevelt and his Presidential Library or take a walking tour of Poughkeepsie including the walkway across the Hudson River. Day 11 At sea

Day 12 Baltimore
Baltimore was named by the Irish House of Lords after Lord Baltimore. Settled in the early 17th century, the vibrant waterfront was the heart of the historic tobacco trade and a major seaport on the east coast.

Day 13 Norfolk
The historic port of Norfolk lies at the entrance to Chesapeake Bay and is home to the Norfolk Naval Base.

Day 14 Norfolk > At sea
Depart Norfolk this morning and cruise south along the East Coast of the USA. After busy days exploring, relax on board. Day 15 Wilmington
Rich in history and folklore with an impressive historic centre full of churches, classic architecture, streets lined with moss-draped oaks and antebellum homes, Wilmington is waiting for you to uncover its secrets.

Freechoice: Explore the elegant historic houses of Wilmington’s three prominent families or take a horse drawn carriage tour through the picturesque historic district. For something different, visit notable film and television locations with a local expert or uncover the craft beer scene on a tour.

Day 16 Charleston
Founded in 1670 in honour of King Charles II of England, Charleston played an important role in the American Civil War and the Afro American history, with nearly half of the Africans brought to America arriving via this historic port.
