Day 1 Havana
Step back in time and welcome to Havana where your journey into wonder begins with a warm greeting by the crew as you step on board Scenic Eclipse. Raise your glass this evening as you are entertained by a performance of Cuban music and dance. The overnight stay allows time at leisure for you to explore by day and by night. (Dinner)

Day 2 Havana
Havana is a fascinating city with a faded façade that is the perfect start to your cruise.

Freechoice: Take a walking tour of Old Havana, follow in the footsteps of Hemingway or visit the house of the artist Fuster. Alternatively, learn about the Cuban staples of rum and cigars or take a ride in a 1950’s vintage car on a panoramic tour of the city.

Day 3 Maria la Gorda
Today visit the World Heritage-listed biosphere reserve of Península de Guanahacabibes and the stunning beaches of Maria La Gorda.

Freechoice: Take a walking tour of the national park or take a bird watching tour. Alternatively explore the nearby pristine Cabo Saint Antonio National Park.

Discovery: Take a Scenic Discovery excursion hiking in the national park or a kayak excursion along the coastline. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4 Cienfuegos
Founded by French emigrees, Cienfuegos is known as the ‘pearl of the south’.

This evening at the historical Teatro Tomás Terry witness a moving gospel choir performance.

With an overnight stay you will have plenty of time to experience the charms of this small city and discover the local music scene. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5 Cienfuegos
Visit a local artist’s studio and witness some entertaining street performers.

Freechoice: Take a walking tour of the historic centre or discover Jardín Botánico. Alternatively, visit Playa Girón and the museum for the Bay of Pigs skirmish.

Discovery: Take a Scenic Discovery bicycle tour of the city. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6 At sea
Relax on board or take a class in Scenic Epicure. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7 Isla de Providencia
Freechoice: Take a tour of the island.

Discovery: Take a Scenic Discovery hiking excursion to the top of Morgan’s Head, snorkel nearby Crab Cay and its pristine waters or snorkel the coastline and secluded bays of the island. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 Puerto Limón
Freechoice: Explore the Veragua Rainforest or visit the Jaguar Rescue Centre and the Sloth Sanctuary. Alternatively, take a highlights tour including the Tortuguero Canals or visit a banana and coffee plantation. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 9 Portobelo
Portobelo on the coast of Panama was an important port during the time of the Spanish conquistadors.

Freechoice: Travel on the Trans Isthmus Railway to visit the Museum of the Canal or explore the World Heritage-listed ruins of Fort San Lorenzo.  Alternatively tour the World Heritage-listed Casco Viejo historic centre. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 10 San Blas Islands
Spend the day relaxing in this archipelago, home to the Guna people and surrounded by crystal clear water and coral reefs swarming with marine life, pristine sandy beaches and coconut palms.

Discovery: Scenic Discovery excursions are available from snorkelling, paddling by kayak to relaxing on a beach with a chef-prepared picnic. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 11 Cartagena > Medellín
Bid farewell as you disembark and fly to Medellín for a two night stay. Enjoy a highlight dinner at Andres Carne de Res. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 12 Medellín
Freechoice: Learn about Medellín’s incredible social transformation since the death of Pablo Escobar. Alternatively, visit Botero Square, Pies Descalzos Park and take a cable car ride to Santo Domingo. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 13 Medellín > Pereira
Over the next three days explore this important coffee producing region in the foothills of the Andes. Visit a local Finca and sample home-grown produce and see a private orchid collection. Enjoy a three night Special Stay. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 14 Pereira
Explore this picturesque region by visiting traditional villages set amongst spectacular landscapes. At Filandia village, walk the streets and see the quaint artisan stores. In the Cocora Valley, see Colombia’s national symbol, the Wax Palm Tree, and in Salento discover the original colonial architecture. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 15 Pereira
Climb high into the hills and learn about coffee in a hands-on experience, from roasting and grinding to brewing. Be welcomed into the homes of local families and taste home-made beverages using produce from their gardens. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 16 Bogotá
Fly to Bogotá, Colombia’s cosmopolitan capital, cradled by the Andean mountains. Situated in the heart of the exclusive La Cabrera district, your two night Special Stay is sure to be a highlight. Visit the Paloquemao fresh produce market where your local guide will point out local delicacies and specialities. Walk the cobblestone streets of the La Candelaria historic centre and enter the impressive Museo del Oro. (Breakfast)

Day 17 Bogotá
Discover the Spanish Colonial Centre of Zipaquirá, home to the underground Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral. Tonight, enjoy a farewell to Colombia dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 18 Bogotá
Your adventure ends after breakfast today. (Breakfast)
