Day 1 San Diego, United States of America
Board Scenic Eclipse, your home away from home to explore the beautiful Mexican Riviera and Costa Rica. (Dinner)

Day 2 At Sea
Relaxation beckons, and with so many choices on board you will wonder how time passes so quickly. Choose one of the daily activities, join an entertaining discussion in the Theatre, or make time for your own fitness regime. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 At Sea
Enjoy your time on board at leisure. Try a game of bridge or canasta in the Observatory Lounge or take some time out to relax in the Senses Spa. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4 La Paz, Mexico
La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur, is known for the old world charm of the seafront promenade mixed with the older architecture of the city centre. It is vibrant city with a real multicultural urban vibe.

Freechoice: Head towards San Rafaelito Island for the chance to snorkel with a small colony of Californian sea lions, or spend the day exploring this charming town. Alternatively, kayak or paddle board at Balandra Bay. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5 Isla Cerralvo
The waters around Isla Cerralvo, or Jacques Cousteau Island are abundant with marine life.  With water visibility up to 30 metres this area is considered by many to be among the top five fishing spots in the world. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6 Puerto Vallarta
Puerto Vallarta is a town on Mexico’s Pacific Coast, known for its beaches and water sports. It is also where Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor filmed John Huston’s ‘The Night of the Iguana’. 

Freechoice: Immerse yourself in the rural beauty that surrounds with an off road adventure, or explore the charming south region of Vallarta, rich in natural beauty, history, and heritage. Alternatively, visit one of Mexico’s greatest treasures, San Sebastian.

Day 7 At Sea
Enjoy a relaxed day at sea on board Scenic Eclipse. There is ample time to rejuvenate.  Choose a class in one of the fitness spaces or try one of the therapy lounges in the Senses Spa. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 Acapulco
Stunning coastal environment, golden sands, tropical weather, warm sea water and the friendliest people on earth – that is Acapulco.

Freechoice: Assist with the conservation of the sea turtles by releasing baby turtles at Bonfil Beach, or explore the highlights of Acapulco and see the death-defying feats of its high cliff divers, or if you’re feeling active, head to Roqueta Island for a hike. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 9 At Sea
Relaxation and rediscovery are yours to enjoy at leisure. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 10 Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala
Freechoice: Drive into the mountains to beautiful old Antigua, once the country’s colonial capital, and discover its lovely bougainvillea-draped buildings and breathtaking views of emerald volcanoes, or travel to the famed Lake Atitlan and enjoy time in a small community where the Mayan culture remains. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 11 Acajutla, El Salavador
Acajutla, El Salvador offers an authentic look at life along the Pacific coast of Central America.

Freechoice: Visit what is known as the most important natural remnant  of the country, El Imposible National Park, or discover the fascinating Mayan civilisation at the archaeological site of San Andrés. Alternatively, learn the history of the region, including where some of the best coffee in the world is grown, or choose to have a unique gastronomic experience visiting a cocoa hacienda. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 12 Corinto, Nicaragua
Visitors are attracted to Puerto Corinto’s untouched beaches ad idyllic tropical surroundings, its streets lined with quaint shops and lovely churches and architecture – here, life slows down. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 13 Bahía Culebra, Costa Rica
Bahia Culebra, Culebra Bay, is a naturally formed bay which due t the quality of its waters has become a valuable natural eco-system and a model for preservation.

Freechoice: Snorkel around Flamingo Beach and discover an enchanting marine world, or choose a Costa Rican cultural experience, where you will get a taste of how ancestors used to live in the 19th century. Alternatively, if you like adventure, zip line through the Papagayo Canopy, ride horseback across some of Guanacaste’s most beautiful surroundings or try white water rafting. Day 14 Puerto Caldera > San José, Costa Rica
Your cruise ends this morning in Puerto Caldera as you say farewell to your crew. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to San José airport for your flight homeward. (Breakfast)
