Day 1 Cartagena, Colombia
Welcome to lively and colourful Cartagena where your journey into wonder begins with a warm greeting by the crew as you step on board Scenic Eclipse. Raise your glass this evening and toast the start of your cruise. (Dinner)

Day 2 San Blas Islands, Panama
Spend the day relaxing in this beautiful archipelago surrounded by clear water and coral reefs swarming with marine life, pristine sandy beaches and coconut palms. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 Panama Canal
One of life’s great experiences is to transit the Panama Canal, one of the world’s key strategic artificial waterways. From Gatun Lake to the Pacific Ocean, the full day journey through the Isthmus of Panama is 65 kilometres long and will take you through three locks where Scenic Eclipse will descend 27 metres. Enjoy this experience from any vantage point on board Scenic Eclipse; from one of the viewing decks to the privacy of your suite’s verandah, it is sure to be a memorable experience. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4 Darién National Park
World Heritage-listed Darién National Park is only accessible by water on a small ship. A natural bridge spanning the two Americas, it houses a myriad of habitats, ranging from rocky coastlines to sandy beaches and mangroves, and is one of the few remaining examples in the world of a protected area inhabited by humans. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5 Utria National Park, Colombia
Located off the coast of Colombia, this tiny World Heritage-listed atoll has been transformed from a former island prison to a wildlife sanctuary. Onshore you will discover monkeys, caimans, a myriad of bird species including the blue-footed booby, the magnificent frigate birds and the endemic blue anole, the world’s only pure blue lizard. The deep blue waters and coral reefs around the island host an abundance of marine life, from inquisitive dolphins and porpoises to the majestic sperm whales.

Day 8 Salaverry, Peru
Salaverry is the gateway to the cultural capital of Peru, picturesque Trujillo and the amazing ruins of Chan Chan the largest earthen city of pre-Columbian America.

Freechoice: Discover the sacred adobe temples, the Pyramid of the Sun and Moon or explore the amazing World Heritage-listed site of Chan Chan. Alternatively, choose to tour the charming colonial city of Trujillo and the Archaeological Museum.

Day 9 Salaverry > Isla Guanape

Lima signals the end of your cruise as you disembark after breakfast continue your journey into wonder with a two night stay. (Breakfast)

Day 11 Lima
Discover the highlights and the hidden gems of Lima, on this cosmopolitan adventure. The marvellous and well-restored colonial architecture is only the beginning.  Your expert local guide will show you the must-sees and hidden gems of this former capital of the Spanish conquistadors. Beyond baroque balconies lie secret treasures from the age-old library and bone patchworks of the city’s famous monastery.

Day 14 Sacred Valley

Day 15 Sacred Valley > Machu Picchu
Travel through picturesque fields on your Vistadome rail journey to Machu Picchu then spend time at the ancient Inca site. Be amazed as your expert local guides share the mysteries of these majestic ruins. Tonight, relax at your charming hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 16 Machu Picchu > Cuzco
Learn how to make two of the country’s signature offerings: ceviche and pisco sours, during a cooking demonstration. After a day at leisure, marvel at the spectacular views from the glass dome carriages on your luxurious rail journey through the Andes on board the Belmond Hiram Bingham luxury train. Day 17 Cuzco
The former capital of the Incan Empire, Cuzco is a city with incredible architecture. On your walking tour, you will uncover the history of this World Heritage-listed Site. Your final stop will be the imposing ruins of Sacsayhuamán fortress.
