Day 1 Bogotá
Arrive in Bogotá, the lively, cosmopolitan capital of Colombia cradled by the Andean mountains. Situated in the heart of the exclusive La Cabrera district, your two night Special Stay is sure to be a highlight. (Dinner)

Day 2 Bogotá
A day of exploration awaits as you walk through the authentic Paloquemao fresh produce market where your local guide will point out local delicacies and specialities. Explore the historic centre of La Candelaria, walk the cobblestone streets and enter the Museo de Oro, housing an impressive display of more than 55,000 golden artefacts. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 Bogotá > Pereira
Fly to Pereira for your three night Special Stay. Over the next three days explore this important coffee producing region in the foothills of the Andes. (Breakfast)

Day 4 Pereira
Explore this picturesque region visiting traditional villages set amongst spectacular landscapes. At Filandia village, walk the streets and see the quaint artisan stores. In Cocora Valley, admire the stunning landscapes and see Colombia’s national symbol, the Wax Palm Tree. Discover original colonial architecture in Salento. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 5 Pereira
Climb high into the hills and learn about coffee in all its stages. Enjoy a hands on experience from sorting, roasting, grinding and brewing. Be welcomed into the homes of local families; taste home-made beverages from produce in their gardens and experience a unique taste of Colombian life. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 6 Pereira > Medellín
Visit a local Finca and sample home-grown produce and see a private orchid collection. In Medellín, stay for two nights at your boutique hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Known as the City of Eternal Spring, Medellín is a vibrant city brimming with civic pride, arts and innovation. With an economy that is among the fastest growing on the continent, it is one of the great success stories of Latin America.

Day 8 Medellín > Cartagena
Welcome to the charming city of Cartagena, founded in 1533 and one of South America’s best preserved colonial cities. Discover Cartagena’s rich history and colonial architecture on your walking tour.

Enter the haunting Palace of the Inquisition and the Santo Domingo Church. At Castillo de San Felipe discover its intriguing history as the guardian of the city. Your one-night Special Stay is at the luxurious Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena.

Day 9 Cartagena
Say farewell to Colombia as you transfer to the luxurious Scenic Eclipse where your journey into wonder begins with a warm greeting by the crew as you step on board Scenic Eclipse. Raise your glass this evening and toast the start of your cruise. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 10 San Blas Islands, Panama
Spend the day relaxing in this beautiful archipelago surrounded by clear water and coral reefs swarming with marine life, pristine sandy beaches and coconut palms. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 11 Panama Canal
One of life’s great experiences is to transit the Panama Canal, one of the world’s key strategic artificial waterways. From Gatun Lake to the Pacific Ocean, the full day journey through the Isthmus of Panama is 65 kilometres long and will take you through three locks where Scenic Eclipse will descend 27 metres. Enjoy this experience from any vantage point on board Scenic Eclipse; from one of the viewing decks to the privacy of your suite’s verandah, it is sure to be a memorable experience. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 12 Darién National Park
World Heritage-listed Darién National Park is only accessible by water on a small ship. A natural bridge spanning the two Americas, it houses a myriad of habitats, ranging from rocky coastlines to sandy beaches and mangroves, and is one of the few remaining examples in the world of a protected area inhabited by humans. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 13 Utria National Park, Colombia
Located off the coast of Colombia, this tiny World Heritage-listed atoll has been transformed from a former island prison to a wildlife sanctuary. Onshore you will discover monkeys, caimans, a myriad of bird species including the blue-footed booby, the magnificent frigate birds and the endemic blue anole, the world’s only pure blue lizard. The deep blue waters and coral reefs around the island host an abundance of marine life, from inquisitive dolphins and porpoises to the majestic sperm whales.

Day 16 Salaverry, Peru
Salaverry is the gateway to the cultural capital of Peru, picturesque Trujillo and the amazing ruins of Chan Chan the largest earthen city of pre-Columbian America.

Freechoice: Discover the sacred adobe temples, the Pyramid of the Sun and Moon or explore the amazing World Heritage-listed site of Chan Chan. Alternatively, choose to tour the charming colonial city of Trujillo and the Archaeological Museum.

Day 17 Salaverry > Isla Guanape

Day 18 Callao, Lima
Lima signals the end of your cruise as you disembark after breakfast taking away memories of your adventures. (Breakfast)
