Tour departs: 2:00 PM from Calgary International Airport. For guests who are spending the previous night in Calgary, an airport transfer from Calgary International Airport to The Westin Calgary is included; pick-up time today will be 1:00 PM at The Westin Calgary. Join us tonight for a Wild West-themed welcome reception and dinner with music at Boundary Ranch. (D)

Day 2 Flightseeing, Yoho & Banff, and on to Lake Louise
Experience the beauty of the wilderness by air and land today, first, weather permitting, on a helicopter excursion* that showcases the Three Sisters Peaks, then on a drive across the Continental Divide and Kicking Horse Pass to Emerald Lake, set among soaring mountain peaks in Yoho National Park. See the famous Spiral Tunnels of the Canadian Pacific Railway and the Natural Bridge, carved through solid rock, before continuing on to The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for a two-night stay in the heart of Banff National Park. Your room overlooks Canada's most famous lake for awe-inspiring views all day long. (B, L, D)

Day 3 Moraine Lake excursion & resort leisure
Take a guided excursion to Moraine Lake, located in the Valley of the Ten Peaks. This glacially fed lake reflects the awe-inspiring scenery that prompted the explorer who named it to write that the time he spent contemplating the view was the happiest of his life. In the event of adverse weather conditions, join our naturalist guide for a tour of Lake Louise. Return to your lakeside resort for an afternoon at leisure. (B, D)

Day 4 Along the breathtaking Icefields Parkway
After breakfast, set off along the Icefields Parkway, which winds its way through Alberta's Banff and Jasper National Parks, past more than 600 glaciers, six icefields and a cornucopia of mountains features jaw-dropping views of spectacular rocky peaks, waterfalls and snowfields around every turn. Enjoy a barbecue lunch, and watch for bears, moose, elk, bighorn sheep, and mountain goats - especially in the spring and fall - en route to your lodge in the heart of Jasper National Park. During your two-night stay, you'll have an opportunity to attend a presentation by a Parks Canada official to hear the history, legends and folklore that are the very essence of Canada's magnificent national parks. (B, L, D)

Day 5 A wonder-full day in Jasper National Park
Do Jasper National Park your way, spending the day at leisure or choosing one of the following included adventures: whitewater rafting* on the Athabasca River; a wildlife "Discovery Tour" with a wildlife interpreter; or a trip on the Jasper Tramway with a visit to town. Optional activities at your lodge (available at additional cost) include trail riding, biking, boating, and golf. A park official shares insights on aboriginal culture during a presentation late this afternoon. (B, D)

Day 6 Climb along Athabasca Glacier on an Ice Explorer
En route back to Banff National Park, stop at Athabasca Glacier for a ride aboard a specially designed Ice Explorer that drives across the surface of this prehistoric glacier. Your accommodations for the next two nights are at The Fairmont Banff Springs, styled after a Scottish baronial castle. (B, L, D)

Day 7 Banff National Park, Your Way
Today is free for you to enjoy as you wish. Explore the chic village of Banff, or enjoy a day at your resort, celebrated both for its setting and its spa! Join us for our farewell reception at The Banff Centre, a world-renowned cultural center where creativity in the performing arts is fostered and new works are created. Your evening includes a special musical performance and dinner overlooking the gorgeous Bow Valley. (B, D)

Day 8 Journey Home
Return to Calgary (approx. 80 miles). Tour ends: 10:00 AM at Calgary International Airport. Guests spending additional nights in Calgary will be transferred to The Westin Calgary upon arrival; a transfer from The Westin Calgary to Calgary International Airport is included.
