Pike's Peak Cog Railway

Colorado's Pike's Peak Cog Railway gives travelers the opporunity to sit back and relax while getting a wealth of knowledge from their conductor about the nature around them. The total round trip while on the train is around three hours long.

The climb to Pike's Peak is a steep one making the Pike's Peak Cog Railway one of the strongest locomotives and highest railways in the world. The train surpasses the timberline and travelers get to see beyond where the trees can grow. Along with the beautiful nature, passengers may see yellow-bellied marmots and Bighorn sheep.
