InterCity Express
The high-speed InterCity Express trains - also known as ICE - are Germany's fastest, traveling at speeds of up to 200 mph, and are among the most comfortable trains in Europe. ICE trains connect all of the major German cities and also provide access to surrounding countries including Austria, Denmark, France and Switzerland.
These state-of-the-art trains may include such amenities as in-seat video screens, an integral audio system, power outlets and telecommunication zones. ICE trains are fully air-conditioned and have a low noise level. Travelers can choose to sit in area with a strong cell phone reception or opt for the silent car. All trains offer family-friendly facilities including baby changing stations.
