Silversea: Payments & Refunds

Deposit and Final Payment

To reserve your Silversea cruise, a 10% deposit of the total cruise fare is required within seven days of booking or less, depending on voyage and time of booking. Full payment is due no later than 90 days prior to departure. Final documentation will be issued after receipt of final payment and approximately 45 days prior to sailing.

Silversea accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

All reservations are subject to cancellation if payments are not received by the due date and are guaranteed only when paid in full 90 days prior to sailing.

Cancellations and Refunds

Should it be necessary to cancel your reservation, please have your travel agent contact the Silversea Reservations Department by telephone and subsequently submit your cancellation in writing. Cruise ticket must be returned to Silversea and air ticket must be cancelled prior to original flight departure before a refund can be processed. If your cancellation request is received more than 120-days prior to your initial sailing date, a full refund of the amount already paid will be made. Cancellation requests received within 120-days of the initial sailing date will be subject to the following charges, regardless of suite resale:

Silversea’s cancellation penalties are strictly enforced. No refund or adjustment will be made in the event of interruption or cancellation of the cruise vacation after the commencement of same. Passengers canceling Optional Package Programmes within 60-days prior to departure are subject to cancellation penalties of 100% plus any additional costs incurred by Silversea. Passengers opting to make changes to Optional Package Programmes, with the exception of the Silver SKY Air Programme, within 60-days of cruise departure will incur a $200 per guest non-refundable administrative fee. A $100 non-refundable per guest administrative fee will be applied for all changes made to the Silver SKY Air Programme within 60-days of the sailing date.
